Policies & Agreements


CADlink Policies & Agreements

Cadlink policies are designed to maintain a logical order in the way in which we are able to provide service to our resellers as well as our customers. They provide for a fair, equitable and consistent approach to our day to day business dealings.

Please follow these policies carefully in order for us to be able to provide you top quality service.

RMA POLICY

CADlink's Dongle Warranty is offered for 90 days. This Dongle Warranty covers any defects in workmanship ONLY. If the dongle has been lost or stolen, please contact the Dealer Hotline immediately.

Returned dongles must be accompanied by a Merchandise Returned Form and must be returned within 30 days of receipt of replacement. Please call CADlink in order to be issued an RMA number. This number should be marked on the outside of the box. A copy of the packing slip or invoice should be included if possible.

BACK ORDER POLICY

If you have items on Back Order, we will complete a Back Order Form and provide you with a copy of the list of items. We will also provide an estimated time of when they will be available. Once the Back Order items are available, they will be shipped to you.

If your order involves items that are on Back Order, you will have two options:

  1. We will release your shipment as is with a Back Order Form, and will deliver the remaining items when they become available;

  2. We will hold your entire shipment until the Back Order items are available, and ship your complete order.

Option 1 is the default shipping option. Therefore, if we do not receive specific instructions to hold the shipment until all items are available, we will proceed as per Option 1.

PRODUCT UPGRADE

Package/Module Upgrade

When a customer has Package X and wants to add modules to this package. There is a change of password and additional material to be shipped (depending on the module ordered). NO need to change the original Dongle.

Cross Product Upgrade

When a customer has a competitive Package Z and wants to trade it in for a CADlink package. A complete new package will be sent with a CADlink Dongle. In most cases, the customer has to send CADlink their old software (competitive package) including its Dongle and a completed RMA form. An RMA number will be pre-issued in these cases.

REPLACEMENT POLICY

CADlink will replace the following items under the following conditions:

Disks

Upon receiving your shipment, if any disks are damaged, CADlink will replace them. Please inform us of the disk number or if you require a new set of disks.

CD Roms

Upon receiving your shipment, if a CD Rom is damaged, you must return it within 15 days of receiving it (or 15 days after your customer receives it) in order to receive a replacement CD Rom.

Manuals

If you receive damaged manuals: User Guides, Font, Logo or Clip Art, please contact us in order to receive replacement manuals.

Packaging Boxes
If the packaging box is damaged due to any shipping related cause, we will replace it. It is important that all packaging be in good condition, even for inventory purposes.
